A process built to eliminate room for error.
Five stages, from the first site visit to support after handover. Each has its own page below.
Pre-contract
Understand your needs and expectations before any money changes hands.
Stage 01 in detail- Site visits and discussions about your goals
- Preliminary measurements so pricing is accurate
- Rough sketches or detailed drawings developed into digital designs
- Final design and construction method agreed with you
- Careful measurement, because buildings are rarely perfectly square
- Advice on natural timber or engineered boards
- Fewer expensive reworks and a quicker installation
- Digitally controlled cutting of parts
- Modern jointing techniques
- Pre-assembly to check fit and detail, then taken apart for finishing
- Coloured finishes, veneers and lacquers
Delivery
Building sites can damage joinery and delicate finishes, so delivery is planned.
Stage 04 in detail- Site constraints assessed in advance
- Protection and storage thought through
- Access and lifts checked for the largest piece
- Contractors briefed on the correct installation method
- All drawings and instructions stored digitally
- Pieces can be recreated or modified later
- Continued support, resolving further needs quickly
Measure carefully before cutting.
The process confirms what the client wants, avoids errors and delivers efficiently.

Process questions
What happens before a contract is agreed?+
SRS carries out site visits, talks through your goals and takes preliminary measurements, so that it understands your needs and expectations before any money changes hands. Rough sketches or detailed drawings are then developed into digital designs.
Do you work in a particular style?+
No. SRS describes itself as design neutral, so its work spans all styles, including renovations and contemporary designs.
Which materials do you use?+
Both natural timber and engineered boards, depending on the job. SRS advises on which suits the project.
What finishes are available?+
Options run from simple coloured finishes to fine veneers and lacquers, and SRS advises on what suits your project.
Can a piece be remade or altered later?+
SRS stores all drawings and instructions digitally, so that it can recreate or modify a piece in future.
